12. Do Ecopiedra claddings meet building codes?
Yes, our products meet Polish, European, and American standards (ASTM). In combination with appropriate priming systems and adhesives, they also meet fire safety requirements.
13. On what surfaces can Ecopiedra cladding be installed?
Cladding is suitable for properly prepared, dry, and load-bearing substrates: wood, drywall, masonry, metal. Best results are achieved on mineral substrates (masonry, renders, drywall, wool or polystyrene with reinforced layer).
14. How to properly install Ecopiedra cladding?
We recommend using type N (Normal) or S (Structural) masonry mortar. Do not use "thinset" type mortars. We recommend ECO ELASTIK adhesive mortar from the Ecopiedra range, tested for loads up to 60 kg/m² – this guarantees safe and durable installation.
15. Can cladding be used inside and outside buildings?
Yes, our cladding is fully weather-resistant and works well both indoors and on facades.
16. Can cladding be installed on brick and other substrates?
Yes, provided proper surface preparation according to our installation instructions. Our technical team provides advice for atypical substrates.
17. Are claddings suitable for use near fireplaces?
Yes, Ecopiedra products have fire resistance class A and are suitable for use near fireplaces and freestanding stoves. Always follow the heating device manufacturer's recommendations.
18. Do claddings get dirty with a smoking chimney?
Like any natural material, they may become soiled with intensive fireplace use. We recommend using vapor-permeable impregnation and regular maintenance with cleaning agents according to our instructions.
19. Can cladding be installed on walkways or terraces?
Our cladding is not intended for surfaces that are walked on. They were designed for vertical applications – walls and facades.
20. Are Ecopiedra claddings suitable for pool areas?
Yes, they can be used near pools, but the surface should be protected with vapor-permeable impregnant. Chlorine may affect color intensity, so we recommend appropriate protection.
21. Can Ecopiedra cladding be cut?
Yes, cladding can be cut using a dry diamond blade saw. This facilitates fitting to non-standard dimensions.
22. Do claddings require special maintenance?
Our cladding is practically maintenance-free – periodic cleaning with mild agents is sufficient. We do not recommend using strong detergents that may affect the surface.
